Beat Burnout & Mend Your Hormones

Functional nutrition for outdoorsy women who want more energy, balanced hormone health, and to feel like themselves again.

A woman with long blonde hair sitting at a wooden table, writing in a notebook with a pen. There is a laptop, a mug, and a vase with yellow, white, and orange flowers on the table. The background shows a white wall, a door, a mirror, a coat rack, and a wreath hanging on the wall.

You eat pretty well. You try to take care of yourself. You know you should probably get more sleep.

And yet… you're tired. WTH.

Maybe your hormones are acting a little unpredictably. Maybe your energy has disappeared somewhere along the way. Maybe you're feeling burnt out, dealing with cravings, bloating, poor sleep or just generally wondering why your body doesn't seem to cooperate anymore.

You’re not imagining it, and you don't have to just put up with it and push through.

I'm Jill, a Functional Nutritionist who helps women get to the root of what's going on and create practical, sustainable ways to support their energy, hormones and overall health.

No extreme diets. No endless list of rules. No expectation that you're going to become a completely different person on Monday and give up chocolate forever.

Just good nutrition, functional health principles and a plan that works in REAL LIFE.

What makes Down to Earth Wellness different?

I take a common-sense, whole-body approach to health.

Your body isn't made up of a bunch of separate departments — everything is connected. So instead of looking at one symptom or one system in isolation, we look at the whole person: your symptoms, health history, nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, digestion, stress, energy and the bigger picture.

I'm also a bit of a health detective.

Your symptoms are clues. We listen to what your body is telling us, look upstream for what may be driving the problem, and start connecting the dots. Sometimes the answer isn't where the symptom is showing up.

Rather than putting you in a box or simply chasing symptoms, we put the pieces of the puzzle together and look for the bigger picture.

That's the Down to Earth Wellness approach: curious, practical, personalized and rooted in both natural health and science.

And when it makes sense, we can use functional testing and blood work to help us gather more information and make better-informed decisions.

We're not here to guess. We test and not guess. And we’re here to dig in and investigate your health fully. :)

Sometimes, we need to dig a little deeper.

Tests that are offered:

Not everything can be figured out from a food journal and a conversation.

When it makes sense, I use functional testing and blood work review to gather more information and help us connect the dots.

Depending on your needs, this may include:

The goal isn't to test everything.

It's to use the right information at the right time to help us better understand what's happening in your body.

Think of it as adding a few more pieces to the puzzle.

We investigate. We connect the dots. Then we create a plan.

Feeling like yourself again starts here.

Whether you're struggling with low energy, burnout, hormone changes, or simply feel like something is “off,” we can start by figuring out what's going on. I blend science and nature to take a root-cause approach.

Hi, I'm Jill.

I'm a Functional Nutritionist, and I know firsthand what it feels like to struggle with low energy, burnout and hormones that seem to have a mind of their own.

I've dealt with these issues for years, along with endometriosis, and learning how to support my body through natural health, functional nutrition and science has helped me heal a ton and feel so much better.

My approach is integrative – combining evidence-informed science with nutrition, lifestyle and a whole-body approach.

Because I don't believe you have to choose between science and natural health. The best approach, in my opinion, is knowing when to use both.

Now I help other women do the same: understand what's going on in their bodies, support their hormones and energy, and get back to feeling like themselves again.

Ready to feel better?

You don't have to figure it all out at once.

Let's start with where you are, figure out what your body is asking for, and make a plan from there.
